| Comments: | Proposed Secret Mountain Research Reserve. Secret Mountain is a "peninsula" extending into the desert above Clarkdale. On the east is Secret Canyon, on the west Lloy Canyon, on the south Oak Creek Canyon, all forming nearly precipitous walls. The only approach open to man or domestic livestock is over the narrow ridge shown in foregound. By maintaining about 10 rods of fence on this ridge, grazing can be controlled. |
