| Comments: | Festuca arizonica in pine-grass-competition experiment. Plot 10 outside of rodent-proof fence. Rodents present but livestock excluded. The grass is unusually rank because the plot is near a group of stumps and the soil is rich in organic matter. The white tufted heads are thistle. |
