Comments: Coconino Sample Plot S3A; Good reproduction under continuous sheep grazing. Germination in 1919, many seedlings killed in 1920, but stock reduced in 1921 and again in 1925. Reproduction has taken place entirely after cutting. Logged 1909, heavily grazed up to 1920. Seedlings were damaged up to 1926, but lightly since then. From rocky hill about 10 rods north of northeast corner of S3A, looking northwest.
