Comments: Taken between Govt. Knolls south panel and Paddie Johnson tank, looking west toward Govt. Prairie with Govt. Knolls in left background. Contrasts vegetation of typical bunchgrass range on right and abandoned field now grown up to weeds on left. Note lack of grass on old field and dominance of such unpalatable weeds as pingue and yellow senecio. Illustrates that cultivated land following abandonment offers poor grazing.
