Comments: Cooperrider-Cassidy study. Mangement bunchgrass range in cutover ponderosa pine type. Taken in middle Government Knolls panel to show a tree injured by porcupine. Tree in center almost dead from old porcupine injury. All needles on tree brown and dead except on lower right-hand branch. This shows by needles of injured tree being lighter in photo than those of surrounding undamaged trees. Tree to left of center has also suffered porcupine damage.
