Comments: Ranger Study Plot P-9-C (old Red Mnt. blue green plot) on Walnut Creek R.D. fenced during Spring 1939. Dense sod is blue green with smal amt. of Muhlengergia terreyl, M. repens, Aristada longiseta, and Boutelous curtipendula. There is trace of Gutierrezia sarothrae present in the plot but appears to be no reproduction. Trees in background are juniper and seem to be spreading to this area. Photo point #1 fromSE to NW corner.
