Comments: | Ponderosa Pine encroaching on Fort Valley park. Age classes range from 1929 to about 1909. The valley was overgrazed to the point of extinction of grasses prior to 1915. Only occasional tufts of blue grama and deer grass now presnet. The low, matlike formation is Senecio actinella. |
