| Comments: | Young Ranch near Kirkland Az. Transect No. 4(Open). Vegetation cover is mainly turbinella oak with a considerable amt of snakeweed and a fair stand of blue grama; shrubby buckwheat also present and closely grazed; grasses are grazed almost uniformly to 1 inch stubble height and not more than 10% of the flower stalks are left. This area is grazed by cattle and goats. |
