Transect No.9 (Open); area grazed by goats and cattle; a typical turbinella oak and buckbrush (Ceanothus greggii) type with a fair understory of blue and sideoats grama; the grass culms showing under the turbinella oak and buckbrush in the foreground are of sideoats grama; snakeweed has been grazed some at this plot which lies 1/2 mi from water. |
