Comments: 1913 and 1928. Taken 20' behind corner C3, Plot S5III(C). Area fenced in 1919. Repeat in 1928: shows group of seedlings established in rotted top slash. The three seedlings where man stands are 2' to 3' tall. The site here is relatively dry, as indicated by the presence of considerable feathergrass (Andropogon sp.)
