The Andrew Pickens Ranger District is home to the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River, a popular angling and whitewater destination. The Ellicott Rock Wilderness offers opportunities for solitude and primitive camping. The district also has numerous waterfalls and hiking trails to satisfy every challenge level.

At a Glance

Operational Hours: Ranger Station: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Information Center: Dispersed camping is permitted on the Andrew Pickens Ranger District. Campsites must be at least 50 feet from rivers, streams or trails, and must be at least .25 miles from the road. No permit is required for dispersed camping.
