The Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail travels across lands of multiple jurisdictions, including National Forests, National Parks, as well as local and state jurisdiction. Rules and regulations along the trail will vary.
Note: At this time, there is no coordinated permit available for Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail thru-hikers.
Help protect the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail for generations to come, by learning about each place you plan to visit along the trail. Remember, special regulations apply in designated Wilderness areas.
