The 1200 mile Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail is a continuous, primarily non-motorized route which ranks among the most scenic, rugged and wild trails in the world. The trail crosses lands of multiple jurisdictions, including National Forests, National Parks, as well as local and state jurisdiction. 

The best resource for information on any part of the trail, for all jurisdictions is the Pacific Northwest Trail Association

Conditions on the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail can change rapidly due to events such as wildfires or flooding. Some sections of the trail may be closed or have other restrictions. The Pacific Northwest Trail Association aggregates information from local land managers and visitors to provide conditions, alerts and other important updates.
