The Olympic National Forest provides visitors many opportunities for viewing plants, wildlife and scenery. From temperate rain forest areas found in the Quinault, Queets, Hoh, and Bogachiel drainages, to large lowland lakes and the Olympic Mountains range areas within the Olympic National Forests Wildernesses. The Olympic Peninsula is surrounded by salt water on three sides and cascading streams and dense conifer forests radiate in all directions. Read more about the forest.
