Roadside brushing and mastication operations are currently ongoing on Spar Lake Road #384 on the Three Rivers Ranger District. Please use caution, watch for “Equipment Ahead” signs and be prepared to encounter equipment when utilizing the road.

Ross Creek Cedars Road and Trail Closure
The Ross Creek Cedars Nature Trail on the Three Rivers Ranger District will be undergoing much needed improvements and closed for the majority of the 2025 season. The closure start date is May 1st and anticipated to last until September 2025.

Big Creek Peregrine Falcon Nesting Area Closure
A closure order is now in effect in the Big Creek Area on the Rexford Ranger District, an area identified as a peregrine falcon nesting spot. The closure is to eliminate potential disturbance from recreational climbers or other recreationists on nesting peregrine falcons.
