Volunteer as a Campground Host!
The Bitterroot National Forest is home to numerous developed campgrounds nestled in stunning natural settings. Our campground hosts play a vital role in caring for these special places and welcoming the thousands of visitors who enjoy them each year. Serving as a camp host is a rewarding way to spend the summer—offering a beautiful place to stay, the opportunity to build lasting friendships, and the pride that comes from helping keep our sites safe, clean, and inviting while sharing the story of our National Forests.
If you’re interested in becoming part of this valued volunteer team, please complete and return the Campground Host Volunteer Application to Erica Strayer at the Darby Ranger District, P.O. Box 388, Darby, MT 59829, or email the form to erica.strayer@usda.gov. We’d love to have you join us!
