Working Together

The Alaska Region has a strong commitment to working with our partners and surrounding communities.  The forest offers several opportunities for volunteering, develops partnerships, creates advisory councils and maintains positive working relationships with Tribes.

The importance of working together to manage all the natural resources grows every year. Working with federal, state, and local agencies, user groups and organizations that want to be involved in public land management is critical to provide the setting and products available on Alaska’s National Forests.
