Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering in southwest Colorado. In partnership with the San Juan National Forest, San Juan Mountains Association (SJMA) is a one-stop connection point for volunteers, public land agencies, and other organizations. 

Opportunities are as varied as the volunteers themselves and include:

• visitor outreach,
• field surveys and monitoring,
• stewardship projects,
• outdoor education and interpretation, and more!
