Haacke Claremont Fuel Reduction
The Bitterroot National Forest proposes to treat fuels and harvest timber using a combination of commercial and non-commercial tree thinning and prescribed fire. The project area is located in Haacke and Claremont Creek watersheds in the Sapphire Mountains, east of Stevensville, Montana.
