Camas Creek Trailhead

Camas Creek Trailhead provides access to Camas Creek Trail #125. The parking area can accommodate passenger vehicles and/or small trailers. There are no facilities at this site.

Food Storage Required: Food Storage Order Bitterroot National Forest

Please practice Leave No Trace Principles when visiting forest land.

Pack it in Pack it out, no garbage service provided.  

No overnight camping.

Pets must be under control at all times.  Leashes recommended to prevent user and wildlife conflicts.

Directions

From Darby, MT,  travel 7 miles north on Highway 93. Turn west (left) on Lost Horse Road (National Forest Road #429) and travel 2.1 miles. Turn north (right) onto National Forest Road #496 and follow approximately 5.8 miles to Camas Creek Trailhead.

Travel Considerations

Winter access may be difficult.
