Crazy Creek Campground

Crazy Creek Campground, a small campground with 7 sites, is equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilet and a hand pump for potable water. Garbage service is not provided. Pack It In/Pack It Out. No host on site.  Campground can accommodate trailers under 26 feet.

Sites are available on a first come first serve basis. Camping limited to 16 consecutive days.

General Information

Crazy Creek Campground sits adjacent to Warm Springs Creek, a tributary of the East Fork of the Bitterroot River.  This creek averages 20 feet wide and 7 inches deep.  Fishing is rated as fair with catches of 7-10" cutthroat not uncommon.  The area offers opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hunting, viewing scenery and wildlife.

Food Storage Required: Bitterroot National Forest Food Storage Order

Practice Leave No Trace principles when visiting forest lands.

Pack it in, Pack it out, no garbage service provided.

Weed Seed Free feed is required on all national forest land: Weed Free Forage & Mulch Products Regional Order.

Campfires allowed, dependent upon seasonal fire restrictions.  

Pets must be under control.

Single Site: $12 per night
Additional Vehicle: $5 per night

Directions

From Sula, MT head northwest 2.9 miles on Highway 93. Turn west (left) onto Medicine Springs Road #370. Travel 4 miles to campground.
