Crazy Creek Horse Camp

Peak Season: Memorial Day - Labor Day Open yearlong until closed by snow.

This site offers 6 horse camping sites with tables, fire rings, feed bins, hitching rails, stock water trough, and a vault toilet. Potable water is not available. Water available at Crazy Creek Campground (May-September). Campground can accommodate trailers up to 26 feet.  Food storage required.

General Information

Crazy Creek Horse Camp is adjacent to Warm Springs Creek, a tributary of the East Fork of the Bitterroot River and provides opportunities for horseback riding on the Warm Springs Creek Trail 103.

Peak season is Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Open yearlong until closed by snow.

Quiet hours:  10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

  • Camping is limited to 16 consecutive days.
  • Pets Must Be Leashed.  
  • No Garbage Service, Pack it in/Pack it out.
  • Food Storage Required.

From Sula, MT head northwest 2.9 miles on Highway 93. Turn west (left) onto Medicine Springs Road #370. Travel 4 miles to campground.
