Deep Creek Campground
Deep Creek Campground, a small rustic campground that sits near the banks of Deep Creek located on the Magruder Corridor. The Magruder Corridor was created in 1980 leaving a unique road that enables a traveler to drive between two wildernesses: the 1.2 million-acre Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness to the north, and the 2.3 million-acre Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness to the south. The Magruder Corridor is mostly narrow and bumpy. Recommend checking with the West Fork Ranger District (406-821-3269) on current conditions.
The Deep Creek Campground features 3 campsites, 2 complete with picnic tables and a vault toilet.
No fees. Campsites are available on a first come/first served basis. No garbage service, pack it in/pack it out.
Site will accept RV's or trailers to 25 feet.
Stock can be kept in this campground. There is one hitch rail and two stock feeders in the campground.
Reservations
- No fees. Campsites are available on a first come/first served basis.
- At least one person must occupy a camping area during the first night after camping equipment has been set up, unless permission has otherwise been granted by the Forest Ranger.
- Camping equipment cannot be left unattended for more than 24 hours without permission by the Forest Ranger. The Forest Service is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
- Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days. After 14 days, you must move 5 miles away from your camp site, as the crow flies.

Visitors with stock who are parking at Deep Creek Campground for several days, avoid parking in a campsite so others can use the site while you are gone. Trailhead parking with stock to access Beaverjack Trail #37, Selway River Trail #4, Kim Creek Trail #26, and Pasture Ridge Trail #62 use this campground.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Camping is limited to 16 consecutive days. After 16 days, you must move 5 miles away from your camp site, as the crow flies.
- Quiet hours 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Pets must be leashed in the campground. Consider leashing dogs at all trailheads the first few miles of the trail to prevent user conflicts in congested areas.
- No garbage service, pack it in/pack it out.
- Food Storage Required
- Campfires allowed depending on Fire Danger level. Ensure your campfire is OUT before you leave.
- Do not rinse or wash dishes/etc. out of the creek. Do it on land.
- Respect wildlife
- Use of fireworks or other explosives is prohibited on all National Forest lands
- Firing a gun is not allowed in or within 150 yards of a residence, building, campsite, developed recreation site, or occupied area, across or on a road or body of water, or in any circumstance whereby any person may be injured or property damaged.

Directions
From Darby, Montana travel south 4.3 miles on Highway 93, turn south on the West Fork Road and proceed for approximately 14.3 miles. Turn west on Forest Road 468, Nez Perce Road and travel for approximately 31 miles (Nez Perce Rd becomes Magruder Corridor) to the campground.
Travel Considerations
High clearance vehicles recommended. This road is closed during heavy snow.

Access the Beaverjack Trail #37, Selway River Trail #4, Kim Creek Trail #26, and Pasture Ridge Trail #62 from this campground. Note all trails other than Beaverjack Trail, will require riding 1 mile on a multi-use road to the Magruder Ranger Station.
