Kootenai Creek Trailhead
Kootenai Creek Trailhead has adequate parking for both cars and trailers. It offers access to Kootenai Creek Trail #53 and the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. Facilities include a vault toilet, and hitching rails.
Stay on main trail for approximately the first 1/2 mile. The trail runs through private land, please respect property boundaries of the owner.

Day use. Overnight parking only allowed if not occupying vehicle.

Trail enters Selway Bitterroot Wilderness at mile 2.6.
No fees are required for this site
Pets must be under control. Leashes are recommended to avoid user and wildlife conflicts. Properly dispose of animal waste bags. Do not put animal waste bags in vault toilets.

From Stevensville take the Stevi cut-off road to Highway 93. Travel north 3/4 of a mile and turn west (left) onto Kootenai Creek Rd. Travel approximately 2 miles to the end and the trailhead.
