Lake Como Group Picnic Site
This picnic site is located within the Lake Como Recreation Area. The site sits along the shore of Lake Como and provides a fabulous view of Como Peaks. It is open on a first come/first served basis. Picnic tables, firepits and charcoal grills are available at this site. The site also features a large concrete pad with 2 accessible picnic tables and charcoal grills.

General Information
A day use pass is required at sites within the Lake Como Recreation Area from Memorial Day-Labor Day. Passes are $5 and can be purchased at the Fee station within the site. Day and Season passes are also available from Bitterroot National Forest offices and vendors around the valley. Interagency (America the Beautiful, Senior, Access, etc.) Passes are honored at this site. Day use only, no overnight camping.

Bears frequent the area - A Food Storage Order is in effect on all National Forest System lands within the Montana portion of the Bitterroot National Forest from March 1 - December 1 annually.
Open yearlong until closed by snow.
6:00am to 10:00pm
