Ecology Trail

The Ecology Trail is 2.5 miles long. It begins at Road #1316 and ends at Road #1316. This trail was developed following a 1994 prescribed burn and has 17 stations that discuss the effects of fire and the exclusion of fire on the forest and its inhabitants. The site has a large parking area, picnic area, and restroom facility.

Directions

From Stevensville, take Stevensville Cutoff to Hwy 93 north. Follow Hwy 93 north for 3.7 miles. Take a left onto Bass Creek Rd and follow for 2 miles. Take a right and follow for .02 miles to Larry Creek trailhead parking lot.
