The Hells Half Acre Mountain trail is 3.3 miles long. It begins at FS Road 224 and ends at FS Trail 16.0. The Wilderness trail is open for the following uses: Horseback Riding, Backpacking and Hiking.

- Practice Leave No Trace principles when visiting forest lands.
- Pack it in, Pack it out, no garbage service provided.
- Weed Seed Free feed is required on all national forest land.
- Campfires allowed, dependent upon seasonal fire restrictions.
- Practice good trail etiquette by staying on designated paths, yielding to uphill users, and giving space to others.

Trailhead/Starting Points
Trailhead is at mile point 8 on Forest Road #224.
Parking
Parking is available for 2 to 3 vehicles, can accommodate a medium sized truck and trailer for stock.

From Forest Road #468 in Idaho, travel south on Forest Road #224 for approximately 8 miles to the trailhead.
