Hells Half-Salmon Mountain Trail # 12

The Hells Half-Salmon Mountain trail is 16.8 miles long. It begins at Road #224 - Hells Half Saddle and ends at Trail #705 - Salmon Mountain Lookout. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Backpacking, Horseback Riding. Travelling from the saddle there is a camp site at the trail junction with #62 and then again at the junction with trail #4 on the Selway River. The trail crosses the Selway River and is usually easy to ford. It climbs up out of the river basin towards Salmon Mtn.
