Willoughby Environmental Education Area

This unique area offers interpretive information, an environmental educational trail, and group day use picnic shelter with cooking grills and an accessible toilet facility. The area contains a variety of habitats, dry sagebrush, ponderosa pine forest, and a riparian area.  A one mile interpretive nature trail travels through these habitat types and is guided by a 12 site interpretive brochure.

Directions

From Stevensville, MT go south on East Side Highway ST269 for 1.7 miles. Turn east (left) at Pine Hollow Rd and follow for 1 mile and turn right to remain on Pine Hollow and follow another 3.4 miles. Turn east (left) onto S Sunset Bench Rd and follow for 2 miles. Site will be on the south (right) side of the road.
