The Blacktail Flathead Electric Cooperative Powerline Corridor Project is located approximately four miles west of Lakeside, Montana to the top of Blacktail Mountain. The project area is entirely within the Salish Mountains Geographic Area and most of the project area is within the wildland urban interface as defined by the Flathead County Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
