Jobs open in Forest Service Outreach Database

The Forest Service Outreach Database is a place for candidates eligible for unique hiring paths and potential candidates to express interest in positions. These positions may be filled permanently through the use of direct hire authorities through unique hiring paths. Responses may also be used to determine the potential applicant pool and/or if further recruitment methods and areas of consideration (e.g., agency-wide, government-wide, open to the public) are needed. Responses may also help determine if an alternate or additional duty location(s) is (are) warranted. To best navigate and search for positions of interest – click on Download Report as Excel at the bottom of the page.

Interested candidates must respond to positions in the Forest Service Outreach Database for direct hire consideration. Direct hiring authorities include: resource assistants, veterans, individuals with Schedule A disabilities, and current federal employees through lateral reassignments. Additional information on the unique hiring authorities can be found at USAJobs.gov Help page for Unique Hiring Paths.

Please read all information for each position, review the attachments, and follow instructions on responding and applying. Please note direct hire authority eligibilities if you have them. Points of contact are listed for each position and are available to help.
