The Three Rivers Ranger District is in the northwestern corner of Montana with the Ranger Station located in Troy, Montana. The District is bordered on the north by Canada and the west by Idaho.
There are numerous recreation opportunities in the area including: hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, rafting, camping, boating, skiing and snowmobiling. The district is home to two popular visitor sites, the Kootenai Falls and the Ross Creek Cedars. The district is home to remote, scenic areas for those wishing to explore places off of the beaten path.
