Breezy Point Overlook & Picnic Area

Hear the winds through the pines while getting excellent views of neighboring granite spires and mountains from a scenic overlook point access by a short cement sidewalk (this short walk is highly recommended as to not miss the scenic view!) from the nearby 5 site picnic area, parking lot and accessible bathroom. Breezy Point is located along Highway 244, just west of Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Visitors can view Black Elk Wilderness, Mount Rushmore, and Black Elk Peak from this spot.
