Spectacle Lake Restriction

SPECIAL ORDER 
RIO GRANDE NATIONAL FOREST 

Pursuant to 36 Code of Federal Regulations Sections 26l.50(a) when posted, the following is prohibited to go into or be upon any area which is closed for the protection of a special biological communities and for public health or safety, 36 CFR 26l.53(b)(e). These restrictions are in addition to those enumerated in Subpart A, 36 CFR 261. This order is to protect fish habitat and reasons for public health and safety. This order will be in effect until rescinded.

Spectacle Lake, Conejos Peak Ranger District 

Pursuant to 36 CFR 26l.50(e), the following persons are exempted from the order: 

(1) Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission.
(4) Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force to the performance of an official duty.
