Biking

The Cibola National Forest is a popular mountain biking destination with biking opportunities across nearly all the Recreation Regions. Notably, visitors can enjoy trail systems such as the Placitas Area trails, the McGaffey Trail system, and the Manzanita Trail system. In addition, multiple scenic drives and the recreation areas around them offer the opportunity for memorable road or gravel riding. Remember that bikes of any kind are not allowed in Wilderness Areas.
