Catalina Highway Complex (Lower)

This trail follows the route of an old road and power line from the Catalina Highway to the site of a now-abandoned prison camp.

Molino Canyon Vista lies between mile post 4 and 5 along the Mount Lemmon Highway.  There is a short paved trail and a longer gravel path to viewpoints.

While most other campgrounds in the Catalina District are closed in winter and open in summer, Molino Campground and Picnic Area has a season that is just the opposite.
