Cerro Pelon Timber Stand and Wildlife Habitat Improvement Project
Thinning in a stand of pinyon-juniper of 165 acres and to improve the health and fire resilence of the stand. This should result in increased pinyon nut production for birds and other wildlife. Some additional herabaceous forage should also occur. This project has been postponed until fall of 2013.
