Cerro Pedernal Four Allotment EA
The Cerro Pedernal grazing allotmenst include the Chicoma, Mesa del Medio, Polvadera and Youngsville grazing allotments. The Environmental Assessment (EA) discusses the reasons for taking action on these grazing allotments, which includes whether or not to continue cattle grazing as described in the proposed action moving the area towards desired conditions. The EA discusses environmental effects of permitted grazing activities on the four grazing allotmenst. The four signed decicions will permit livestock grazing on the four grazing allotments. The action consists of three components: authroiziation of permitted livestock, new range facilities, and adaptive management.
