Salt River Allotments Vegetative Management EIS

On February 22, 2013, the EPA published the Notice of Availability for the draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), beginning the 45-day comment period that will end on April 8, 2013. The draft EIS contains the purpose and need of the project; a description of the alternatives including the proposed action; discussions of the affected environment describing physical, biological, social and economic components for each potentially affected resource; and discussions of environmental consequences, including direct, indirect, and cumulative effects of the alternatives, including the No Action Alternative (FSH 1909.15.20).
