Highway Tanks Tribal Forest Protection Act Project
On October 22, 2021, Globe District Ranger Adam Bromley signed the Decision Memo for this project, which focuses on restoration of fire adapted ecosystems, including the use of mechanical thinning and prescribed burning, to accomplish landscape restoration objectives, as proposed by the San Carlos Apache Tribe, on the Tonto National Forest.
