This site offers fishing, water reacreation and wildlife viewing. Four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended for access to shoreline from paved parking area. Several trails and staircases provide easy access from paved parking to shoreline reacreation.

- No motor boats are permitted on the flowing portion of the Salt River.
- 14 day stay limit, no fees. Rules and regulations are posted. Please read and observe.

- This area is prone to flash floods. Camp out of flood areas and watch the weather carefully.

From Globe: Take State Highway 188 west for 13 miles to Highway 288 junction. Turn right onto Highway 288 and continue for 4 miles to Forest Road (FR) 465. Turn left onto FR 465.
