West Pinto Trail
Located in the Southeast section of the Superstition Wilderness, West Pinto Trail is scenic and rugged. Most of it is located in the west fork of Pinto Creek. Steep grades on portions near Iron Mountain present a challenge but with a great view from the saddle as a reward. The middle of this trail is extremely brushy with catclaw and can be difficult to navigate. The east section is in the canyon bottom and bumps in and out of the creek. Users should always check the weather forecast prior to any wilderness adventures.
