Windy Hill Boating Site
Windy Hill Boating Site is located on a peninsula jutting into Roosevelt Lake, central Arizona’s largest lake. This boating site also has a large campground and other improvements.

Tonto Daily Pass and Watercraft Sticker or Tonto Discovery Pass are required.
- Tonto Daily Pass (and Watercraft Sticker, if required). Available at Tonto National Forest Offices and retail vendors (please call for availability).
- Tonto Discovery Pass. Available at Tonto National Forest Offices.
- Tonto Fee Machine Pass. Nearest machines located at Windy Hill, Burnt Corral, Cholla, or Schoolhouse campgrounds.
Restrictions
- Sewage dump facilities are located across from Cholla Campground 8 miles north on Hwy. 188 (no fee).
- Boat sewage pump-out can be arranged with the marina.
- Please use the trash receptacles.

$12 per vehicle per day (purchased on-site at Tonto Fee Machine)
$80 per annual
$60 per senior & access annual

Directions
The entire route is paved with the exception of Forest Road (FR) 82A. From Claypool (between Globe and Miami): Take State Hwy. 188 northwest for 25 miles to the junction of FR 82; turn right and continue to the site.
From Mesa: Take State Hwy. 87/Beeline Highway north for approximately 60 miles to the junction with State Hwy. 188. Turn right and follow State Hwy. 188 for 33 miles to the junction with State Route 88. Continue on State Hwy. 188 for 4 miles to FR (FR) 82. Turn left (north) on FR 82, and continue to the site.
