West Northwest D1 Wildlife Habitat Improvement Project
The project will remove conifer species from shrub community types through lop and scatter on 19,682 acres. The project intent is to maintain native vegetation diversity, watershed stability, reduce wildfire potential, and improve wildlife habitat.
