Buckboard Crossing Campground
Buckboard Crossing Campground is located on the far northwest shore of Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
The campground is situated in a high desert landscape with sagebrush and a few scattered trees. Natural shade is minimal.
Campers are offered the convenience of an adjacent boat ramp, marina, fish cleaning station, and boat pump out station. Buckboard Marina has a boat ramp, restaurant, bar, slips, fishing licenses, tackle and groceries. Non-campers can use the shower facilities for a small fee. A dump station and trash collection is located on-site.
Don't Move Firewood: Help prevent the spread of tree-killing pests in our national forests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site.
Nearby Attractions: Flaming Gorge Dam offers guided tours of the working hydroelectric plant and the dam itself. The adjacent visitor center contains area history exhibits.
