Stateline Cove Campground

Stateline Cove Campground, located in the Ashley National Forest near the Utah-Wyoming border, offers a unique and flexible camping experience along the sandy shores of Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Situated just 6 miles east of Manila, Utah, the campground is easily accessible via Lucerne Valley Road.

The open, high-desert environment provides expansive views and sandy beaches but is also highly conducive to winds. Visitors should come prepared for potentially windy conditions when setting up camp.

The campground features basic amenities, including three vault toilets, four portable toilets, and some picnic tables. However, there is no water available on-site, so campers should plan to bring their own. Camping is first-come, first-served, with a dispersed layout along the beach, allowing campers flexibility in choosing their spot.

With its direct access to Flaming Gorge Reservoir, the campground is a prime location for water-based recreation, including boating, fishing, swimming, and kayaking.
