Pine Valley Reservoir
Current Conditions
Due to recent impacts from Hurricane Priscilla, the Pine Valley Recreation Area and Forsyth Fire burn scar experienced significant damage from flooding. The recreation area is closed until further notice. The Pine Valley Recreation Area is closed indefinitely for public safety.
Pine Valley Reservoir is a popular recreation destination on the Pine Valley Ranger District. The reservoir sits just southeast of the historic town Pine Valley. The lake offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and picnicking. It is known for its serene setting and is stocked with fish. The area around the reservoir is a perfect location for hiking, camping, and nature observation.
