Snodgrass Trailhead

The Snodgrass Trailhead is located west of Coleville, Calif. and provide access to the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness via the Snodgrass Trail (5.8 miles to junction with Silver King Trail). 

General Information

May - October

  • A wilderness permit is required for overnight visits within the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness. Wilderness permits are free and are self-issued at trailheads.
  • A free California Camp Fire Permit issued by CalFire is required for campfire, barbecue, and portable stove use.
