Tahoe Meadows Trailhead

The Tahoe Meadows Trailhead, located off Mt. Rose Highway (NV-341) is a popular site providing access to multiple trail opportunities. This trailhead serves as a primary access point for the Tahoe Rim Trail, in addition to the Tahoe Meadows Interpretive Loop and the Tahoe Meadows boardwalk.

  • Newly constructed restroom facilities were installed in the Summer of 2024.

May - October, as weather and conditions allow.

Open 24 hours/day

No Fees are required for this site.

Directions

From I-580 and NV-431 (Mt. Rose Hwy) in Reno, Nevada, travel 16 miles west on NV-431 to the trailhead parking area, located on your left before you reach the open meadows.
