North Skyline Drive State Scenic Backway

North Skyline Drive, a gravel road, climbs to the Wasatch Plateau from US-6 and undulates south for 27 miles to SR-31. This section is located in the Spanish Fork - Scofield Recreation Area on the Ferron/Price Ranger District in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. This backway provides scenic views into Lake Fork and Fish Creek drainages and access to prime fall hunting areas. It is a groomed snowmobile trail in winter. The road is suitable for passenger cars, but is closed in the winter.
